NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

From NPS Incidents:

ST. CROIX NATIONAL PARK GROUP - VI
Two Missing Divers Found And Rescued

On the afternoon of December 10th, rangers received a request for assistance in a search underway for two missing divers – one of them an off-duty Virgin Islands police officer. They were last seen at Lang Bank, about six miles east of Buck Island Reef NM. There was a small craft warning in effect at the time due to six- to eight-foot swells. Also involved in the search were local agencies and civilians and the Coast Guard. Ranger Adrian Fernandez and bio-science tech Clayton Pollock found the two divers a mile east of Buck Island within the park’s jurisdiction just after 3 p.m. The divers were exhausted, but appeared to be in good health. They were transported to Green Cay Marina, where they were met by EMS personnel, treated and released.
