For those of you who discussed housing with me, dorm rooms should be available Sunday. I forgot to ask about sheets and stuff.
You'll need all your gear
Monday we will meet in NNR104 at noon (or at a room whose number will be posted at 104). We'll discuss the OPOTC final exam, then 1300-1700 you will cover Cultural Resource Protection.
Tuesday will be the state exam. We will have a van leaving at a time TBA. In the evening we will have a class on Natural Resource Law from 1800 to 2200.
Wednesday we will start into Basic Tactics with a review of weapons handling and Building Search. That will run through Thursday evening.
Friday morning we will have our final NPS Test, unless as a class we move it earlier. The start time for 8 - 10 hours of Patrol Final Exercises will depend on our testing time.
Contact Information
NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.
I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.
My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.
