Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

AR Mags

Part of me really hates doing this, 'cause I feel like I'm just spreading chum for the sharks and contributing to a nonsensical shortage of our own making, but it's a little late for me to be acquiring wisdom at my age.

Brownell's is showing their line of 20 & 30 round mags in stock, including a cool pack of 10 split between 20s and 30s.  I have a slew of these mags, and they work like toppers.  If I was a hoarder...I'd still hold out, they used to include ranger plates on some of them.  Because I'm the last person in the world to like 20 round magazines, I really need the plates or Magpuls or duct tape or 550 cord or 8 inch long fingers, because finding 20 round pouches, particularly integral to a chest rig or vest, is harder than finding the mags themselves.  It helps fishing them out of the bottomless pit.

Of all things, they also showed having SSG mags in stock.  If you know what an SSG is, you'll know that it's NEVER been easy to find them.
