It's that time of year.  There have already been a number of motorcycle involved fatals, IIRC they were predominately single unit incidents.  Note the age of the driver of the striking vehicle, and the vehicle itself, a high-CoG SUV with the driver's visibility akin to that of a Sherman tank.  The clip doesn't mentioned the nature of the roadway; curves, rise/fall and such, but it does imply that the Park Service has an accident reconstructionist, what I initially wanted to do before being sucked into the morass of sex crimes and higher ed.  I dug the math and the concept of reassembling a 3 dimensional jigsaw puzzle, plus the fact that you seldom had to deal with people, let alone those who smelled really, really bad. I don't know what the current requirements for a reconstructionist now, but in the 80's it involved months of specialized training and a lot of math and physics.

Sex crimes and higher ed is all about dealing with people, and some of them smell really, really bad.
