Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

Travis Kling, RAP20

Travis, who received the Ideals Award in his class, apparently made a killer traffic stop, during which no one was killed.  That particular county is notorious for pill mills, and he catches a couple of knuckleheads with a mobile meth lab:
Four Arrested in Connection with Mobile Meth Lab
Bond set for four drug offenders
These DO NOT look like the guys anyone would trust with a Mr. Wizard Chemistry Set.
(Travis gets his name mentioned in the second article, which is cool the first couple times, then you learn to study every article to make sure your name isn't mentioned)
(Thanks to Heidi, RAP Field Correspondent, for sending this)
(Trivia: IIRC, according to the AG's Office, there were enough Schedule II narcotic pain meds "prescribed" and "filled" in Laurence County to provide every resident with something like 130 doses.)
