Far North Film Festival

Those of us tied up at the Academy will have a tough time making it.  I'm always up for a road trip, but this may be a little out of reach. 

From Wrangell-St. Elias:

Wrangell St Elias National Park and Preserve, Alaska Geographic, and the Far North Conservation Film Festival will be presenting a diverse group of outstanding films about the conservation and sustainability of wildlife, wild places and cultures from around the world.
 The Far North Conservation Film Festival began in 2003 in celebration of National Wildlife Refuge Week. After growing and developing, the festival is in its 7th year of celebrating the diversity and sustainability of wildlife, wild places, and cultures around the world and in the far north! The Far North Conservation Film Festival is a place for filmmakers, local people, and local businesses to support media that matters in promoting global conservation.
 Come and join us for just one film or enjoy the whole festival in the National Park Service Theater.  The festival will be shown April 23^rd from Noon to 5 P.M. The Visitor Center and Bookstore will be open from 11:30 to 5:15 PM
