Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

LEO Vehicle Crash

This isn't going to buff out:

SM Police Officer Recovering After Horrific Crash

"Macagni says Officer Damon Badnell was responding to a call for help from another officer on foot chasing a burglary suspect in the north end of town.

"It had just rained, the roads were slick and for unknown reasons he lost control of the car at Main and Broadway", Macagni says."

This is a wild guess, but could the reason be that he was going too fast for the road conditions?  OK, everybody gets pumped on a hot call, but you got to get there to be any help.  Don't become part of the problem by driving past the limits of your skill, the car's and tire's capabilities, and the laws of physics.  If you do, technically you aren't driving anymore, you are just along for the ride.
