Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

Dickies Occupational Wear Launches Tactical Collection For Law Enforcement Industry - Soldier Systems Daily

Memories... when NRTI first mandated uniforms for the SOT program, khaki Dickies.  Then I came along and changed the pants to dark dog-poop brown, because I was used to jail trustees wearing all khaki and it was just a matter of time before someone near me would turn too quickly and I'd take them to the ground.  That was the "UPS" uniform, because people kept mistaking Candidates for deliverymen and women.  Then khaki BDUs, which caused non-stop complaints from female candidates because they made their butts look too big, or too small, or tri-lobal, or something, plus they were cheap and there were WAY too many blown-out crotches during DT, visuals I'm still trying to forget.  That brought us to what was the last Academy uniform, though I'd like to see somebody outfit themselves in a thousand dollars worth of Dickies.
