I'm considering trying DSLR video, so I thought I'd see what my Lumix would do - not impressive.

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.
I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.
My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

Medflight Class
Another great presentation on LZ set-up and safety, and a new helicopter to show off. It made me feel really old - a glass instrument panel, no oil leaks, no vague odor of sun-rotted canvas webbing and puke, no parts falling off...and QUIET. Because I'm easily amused, the coolest thing was the patient cot, it slides, swivels, can be positioned anyway the medics need it, and faces forward, so the patient has a great view, if they are in any shape to see anything other than a bright light coming towards them. I'm certain that the cot alone cost more than my house and land.

And i got a great shot of JL, who isn't doing anything to disprove the idea that she's a closet hippie, but I won't post it on the off-chance that she gets a job.
