Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

Further Observations, Only More Pointlesser

Someday, if I run into the person who invented polar/polyfleece, I'm going to kiss them full on the lips.  I really hope it's not a dude, but I'll do it anyway.

To the sick bastards at Cabela's who designs their bad-weather gear: Velcro, snaps, zippers, buttons.  Stop using all four at the same time.  Use two, max.  By the time I've excavated down to the zipper, the velcro has refastened itself and there are snaps fastened through buttonholes.  Cut it out.  This isn't NASA, I don't lay in an recliner while white-coated technicians suit me up.

You can spend over a hundred bucks for synthetic black checkered stocks for a P229 that work just as well as the $19 plastic black checkered stocks from SIG.  And you've contributed a lot more to the economy than by using the ones from SIG.  Yay, I'm a good citizen!
