Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

Crash & Crime Scene Templates

I did a Scene Sketch and Drawing class over the weekend and spent a couple minutes describing some of the thousands of templates on the market.  It occurred to me that many, many crime scene templates include grand pianos, the really thorough ones have upright pianos also, and that not once, ever, never did I ever need to draw a piano into a crime scene drawing, even at things like church burglaries.

I did determine that the template makers could leave out the musical instruments, and add some things that would be used far more often:
  • Single-wide mobile home, skirt and wheels optional
  • Single wide mobile home with extra roof framed over the top of the rotten roof
  • 2 single wide mobile homes stuck together side by side with doorways SawZalled between them
  • School bus converted into mobile home
  • School bus converted into dirt-track racer/ATV hauler
  • Kerosene heater
  • Toilet
    • Non-Functional Toilet
    • Over-flowing Toilet
    • Toilet in Yard, Flowers Optional
