Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

I'm Back....

....after 3 straight weeks of non-stop chaos, during which I actually slipped backwards and accomplished -10% of what I wanted to do.  My vacation for this year consisted of two 12-hour days driving.

The coastal Low Country of Georgia hasn't gotten any higher since I was there last, but I swear the heat and humidity would grow mold on a bowling ball.  I'm to the point of picking lodging based on how low their thermostats will go.  The thermometer in the Honda of Justice would read 104 outside, and I kept the AC set to 62.  I had chest pains every time I stepped out to pump gas.

Photography was forbidden according to the sign where i was at, so here's a picture of what it looks like when you take a camera out of a 62 degree environment and into a 104 degree and 974% humidity environment:

It really doesn't matter, it was pretty dismal to begin with.

I found a scenario training site that reminded me of home -
-though it's actually in better shape than a lot of them here.  There were maybe a dozen campsites set up, sorta like Lake Snowden South.

Training cars as far as the eye can see.  Must be nice.
