Contact Information

NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

Man Convicted Of Assault On Rangers

TASERs Trumps Surveyor's Stake

Pickets and surveying pins could make for nasty puncture wounds, particularly against vampires. Apparently this slow learner needed the benefits of 2 separate dartings before he grasped the concept of lying down and shutting up.

Man Convicted Of Assault On Rangers

On March 26th, Brian Grosh of Cumberland, Maryland, was found guilty of simple assault and disorderly conduct charges in the U.S. Magistrates Court for an incident that occurred on April 10, 2008. Grosh, who owns property within the boundaries of the park, had a hostile interaction with park employees as they were marking the park’s boundary line. Grosh threatened the park employees and threw a wooden surveyors stake at ranger Brandon Brown. Brown used his electronic control device to try to control Grosh, but he continued to resist arrest and was wrestling on the ground with Brown when ranger Leigh Zahm applied a second ECD dart cartridge to Grosh. He was then handcuffed and arrested. The sentencing for these convictions will be on June 2nd.
