NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

This one occurred near where I lived back in the previous century.  UC was where I went to college.

CINCINNATI --

A University of Cincinnati police officer and another driver are recovering after a crash.
Police said the officer had his lights and sirens on at the time of the crash, as he was responding to a back-up request from a Cincinnati police officer.
Investigators said the officer was heading east on Martin Luther King Boulevard when he crashed into a car heading north on Reading Road.
Both the woman in the other car, and the officer, were taken to a hospital for treatment. Medics said the officer suffered a neck injury. The woman complained of back pain, police said.
"When we're responding, lights and sirens, of course, that gives us the right of way, but that's dependent upon people hearing the siren and seeing the lights. Nowadays cars are more sound insulated, people have stereos going, they're talking on the cell phones; there's a lot of distractions out there, so it's dangerous for everyone all around," University of Cincinnati Assistance Police Chief Jeff Corcoran said.
Crash investigators are trying to determine exactly what caused the crash. Officers said they should be able to retrieve dash camera video from the squad car by Monday.
