NRTI as we knew it is no more, and I don't know what will happen in the future. Technically, I'm still employed by the College, though am enjoying a paid hiatus, and working on everything I couldn't work on when I was spending 70 hours a week running the Program, like cleaning up from the tornado that hit, what, 7 years ago now? I'm also commissioned with a nearby county agency, actually answering to one of the more popular instructors, so I'm still trying to keep my hand in.

I'll continue to post information and news from grads and friends, and also want to keep current with LE news and references.

My College phone and e-mail are pretty much out of service, so I'll be setting up yet another account , so we can stay in touch.

2010 Tahoe

GM/Chevrolet is offering LE agencies two versions of the Tahoe SUV in 2010 — the pursuit-rated two-wheel and higher-off-the-ground all-wheel drive versions. The Chevrolet SUV is powered with a 5.3-liter, V8 with six-speed automatic transmission (new for this model year). It's a flex-fuel vehicle that accepts E85 fuel. The two-wheel version is rated at 15 MPG and 17 MPG city/highway; the all-wheel is rated at 15/21 MPG city/highway. The four-wheel version carries a slightly higher price tag. They carry a 5-year/100,000 limited powertrain warranty. Also new for 2010 are front-seat-back-mounted Thorax air bags, a 3.08-ratio rear axle and two new exterior colors (Taupe Gray and Silver Metallic).

(Bill's note: I usually hear "thorax" being used to describe the anatomy of insects, but I guess it could also apply to the human chest or thoracic region)
